Tehachapi Mountains

After good late winter rains, the Tehachapis southeast of Bakersfield, California are glorious.  This is another favorite frame, with luminescent color and great detail.   I crawled around in the mountainside field for a long time, smelling the fresh spring earth and snapping frames of the poppies!
