The greatest Hall of the People in China isn't in Beijing's Tienanmen Square, but in the local railway stations.  Thousands of patient people pass through the portals of these local stations every day.

I found this station in Shuchow, or perhaps Wuxi, west of Shanghai, on a vacation trip.  Amazing that a westerner standing up to take a picture from a bench, can suddenly be the focus of so many eyes!
